Art Gallery is a combination of colouring and tracing the given objects. Only crayons are to be used for colouring. A wide variety of objects from day‐to‐day life, from easy to difficult, from straight to curved lines and different shapes for making different pictures are given. There are collages to be made by paper tearing, tracing, pencil shading and thumb impression. The freehand drawing concept is also given.
There are different things given to draw for a different level. Every part is well-graded and the approach is from simple to difficult. Object drawing, geometrical shapes in different light and shade technique and also in different forms are given in the beginning. There is a pencil shading with different lines. The book contains drawings and colouring through different types of colour like watercolour, poster colour, sketch pen, pastel colour, etc. The pencil shading technique is used in making human body parts like eyes, nose, ear, lips. Making the face of an adult and child in both front and side poses are also taught.
Different postures of a human being are given such as standing, sitting, etc. Life composition of different types e.g. landscape and portrait are also given. Drawing patterns and colouring pages are also provided.
